Propulsion power is essential for keeping ships and their systems operational, and RH Marine's Rhodium Propulsion Control System (PCS) controls the generation and distribution of this power under various operational conditions.
As an autonomous standalone system, the PCS connects local processing units to engines, clutches, gearboxes, CPPs and other propulsion systems.
Operation is via control panels on the bridge and in the engine room.
Integration and efficiency for propulsion systems
The PCS can be seamlessly integrated with AMCS, PMS and DPT. RH Marine aligns these applications to maximise the use of propulsion settings, increasing the efficiency and operation of the vessel.
In addition to the PCS control panels, the Rhodium PCS can also be controlled and monitored via dedicated displays in the AMCS. This means the operator does not need to be physically at the PCS control panel, and integration with PMS systems ensures full support for electric and hybrid propulsion systems.
Integration with DPT systems allows the PCS to be controlled for position and speed maintenance.
