RH Marine's ASSA system is an advanced control system that combines course keeping and roll damping.
This system uses the rudder and steering vane not only to maintain course or heading, but also to reduce roll motion.
By applying a torque against roll motion, the rudder functions in the same way as conventional fin stabilisers. This results in improved stability and smoother sailing with roll reductions of up to 60%, even in rough conditions.
