Power & Propulsion
The Heavy Construction Flex-lay Vessel Seven Arctic and Diving Support Vessel Seven Kestrel were constructed in South-Korea over a period of four years. RH Marine was responsible for the integrated design, delivery and commissioning of the electrical Power and Propulsion systems. Design included among others Short Circuit Calculations, Selectivity Analysis and THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) analysis according to the DNV standards, which resulted in a fully customized, efficient and reliable integrated system.
Proven performance
RH Marine supplied for Subsea7 vessels such as the Seven Borealis which became operational in 2012. RH Marine delivered the full electrical power distribution, electrical propulsion , automation, dynamic positioning and navigation/communication systems. The offshore energy contractor has selected RH Marine again for its latest new builds HCV Seven Arctic and DSV Seven Kestrel which both have been delivered early 2017.
“We’ve managed to achieve optimal coordination, working in close collaboration with the owner and the shipyard,” says Aart Tuijl, Sales Director Special Vessels.
